North Stratton Pipe Band

The band was formed in 2015 by Pipe Major Hugh Armstrong and Drums Sergeant Michael Hansen from the Edmonton contingent of the Grade 1 Alberta Caledonia Pipe Band and the Grade 3 Ben Nevis Pipe Band. North Stratton has traveled to the World Championships in Glasgow 5 times in it's short 5 year existence and has received 4 top 10 finishes in Grade 2. In 2019 the band is traveling overseas twice to compete in the UK Championships, in Northern Ireland, and the World Championships, in Glasgow, Scotland.
