Hosted by the Foothills Caledonia Youth Pipe Band in Calgary, this is the perfect way to kick off the 2026 Alberta piping and drumming season. Designed to spotlight Amateur grades in both solo piping and drumming events, this event directly supports a local youth organization dedicated to nurturing the pipers and drummers of tomorrow.

As a sanctioned ASPD event, the Ogden Indoor Highland Games follow the music requirements as set out by the Music Committee, which can be found here. To compete in solo and band competitions, competitors must be a 2026 ASPD (or affiliated Society) member in good standing. For ASPD membership information, visit the Membership page.


The Ogden Indoor Highland Games follows the rules as set out by the ASPD and reserves the right to cancel events as required. In consideration of submitting an entry, you will, for yourself, your heir(s), executor and administrators, waive and release any rights for damages you may have against the Alberta Society of Pipers & Drummers and the Ogden Indoor Highland Games, its agents, representatives, successors and assignees for any and all injuries suffered at or through the aforementioned events.
